The Works Hawthorn is our flagship store for Bed Bath N’ Table which showcases the widest range of our homewares products and includes a newly renovated, 125 seat Mezzanine Café. 

About The Role

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Café BOH Manager to join our close-knit team. You will be responsible for managing back of house for breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. Duties including food preparation, cooking, cleanliness, hygiene, day-to-day kitchen operations and opens/closes.

This is a fast-paced leadership role, where you will be expected to run the kitchen using best food handling practices.

The Perfect Profile

• Previous hospitality, kitchen management and chef experience
• Menu creation and execution
• Confidence to prepare a range of foods that people will talk about
• Ability to work independently, proven food preparation experience following food handling guidelines
